Crafts in Tryavna – school of Tryavna

The craftsmen from Tryavna put their own style of work when it comes to three crafts – woodcarving, iconpainting and construction. The earliest known artworks of the Tryavna craftsmen from ХVІІІ century demonstrate an already established style of work, which leads the search for the emergence of the Tryavna art school towards the end of ХVІІІ century and defines it as the earliest Revival art school in Bulgaria.
